Frequently asked questions
How do I actually read with Beamory?
Beamory runs on Android 11 with built-in Wi-Fi, so you can read two ways: install a reading app like Kindle or Google Play Books right on the projector, or mirror a reading app from your phone or tablet over Wi-Fi or HDMI. Either way, your book shows up large and clear on the wall so you can read completely hands-free.
Does it work well in any room?
Dim lighting works best, like lamplight in the evening rather than bright daylight. Beamory's 260 ANSI lumen output can get washed out in direct sunlight or bright overhead light, but in a dimly lit room the picture is crisp and easy to read.
How far should I place it, and how big will the text be?
Beamory projects from about 1.2m to 4m away, giving you a screen anywhere from roughly 40" to 130"+. For reading from bed or the couch, 2-2.5m usually works best. Use the auto keystone and focus adjustment to get the text sharp.e.
Is it noisy?
It has a small built-in cooling fan, about as quiet as a laptop fan. If you want it even quieter, just place it a little further from where you're sitting.
